Clean freshwater is becoming a scarcity in our modern times and, undoubtedly, is one of our most essential resources. It’s been said, “There’s plenty of water in the universe without life, but nowhere is there life without water.” But have you ever wondered, where is the purest water on Earth? The answer to this question prompted American and Chilean scientists to research and test water sources all over the world, in search of uncontaminated water. The instruments they used in their high-resolution laboratory could detect chemical compounds in the water up to two parts per million. While there are a few places that boast extremely clean water, such as Canada, Iceland, Antarctica, or even Upstate New York, the team of scientists determined that the cleanest water in the world was in the Patagonia region of Chile, Puerto Williams. Water samples were collected from the Ukika River, Bronzes River, Bass River, and Laguna Los Guanacos, among other sources of freshwater. “Our results confirm that these waters are clean, the cleanest on this planet,” said University of North Texas scientist, Guido Verbeck. He went on to say, “Water…in this area is incredibly clean. It is an ecosystem that existed on the planet before the world industrial revolution.”
While most of us would love to move to South America and go on hikes in verdant jungles among majestic mountains, it’s just not realistic. We might daydream about the purest water in the world, but a more pressing question for us is, “How can I get the purest water in Central Indiana?”
That’s where c and j water comes in. Whether you have city or well water, we have treatment solutions for your home.
In order to get clean, contaminate-free water in Central Indiana, we recommend at least a water softener and a reverse osmosis drinking water system. Our water softeners prevent mineral deposit build-up in appliances, and stains on your sinks and plumbing fixtures. They also allow you to use less soap and detergent for showers and doing dishes. Our reverse osmosis filtration system has several filters and membranes that remove organic and inorganic solids from your drinking water, rendering it 99% contaminate-free.
