Carmel, Indiana RO System

Carmel, Indiana

We recently installed this setup for a homeowner in Carmel, IN with a private water well—a sediment filter for point of entry filtration, a UV light for bacteria mitigation, a twin-tank softener for soft water 24 hours a day, and a reverse osmosis drinking water system for consumption.

Martinsville, Indiana

Often homeowners complain about their water having a bad taste or smelling like rotten eggs.

We installed this AIO unit for a customer in Martinsville, IN to eliminate the odor. Martinsville is located in Morgan county where the average hardness is just over 18 gpg.

AIO stands for Air Induction Oxidation and is an effective and economical way to remove the iron that causes smelly water, without the use of messy and dangerous chemicals or expensive pumps. If added to existing water softeners, our iron removing, odor-reducing unit will remove iron or odor that the softener media could not.

Plainfield, Indiana

Check out this installation for a homeowner with a private water well in Plainfield. They chose a constant pressure pump system, sediment filter,
water softener, and a tannin removal unit.

What are tannins? Tannins are fermented organic materials that are created by the breakdown of vegetation. While water affected by tannins does not pose any health or safety risk when consumed or used in the home, it can create some unique problems.

Besides the unappealing color, affected water can have a plant-like, musty odor to it and will have an unpleasantly tangy aftertaste when consumed. The tea-like color also works similarly as a dye and has the potential to permanently stain laundry and even porcelain fixtures and dinnerware in your home.

Zionsville, Indiana

This customer in Zionsville, IN needed a water softening solution for their well water. This installation required a bit of ingenuity to fit their water softener and brine tank into a tight space. At c and j water we can work with customers to provide quality installation of water treatment equipment no matter what space we’re working with!

Located in Boone County, Zionsville gets its water from Eagle Creek Reservoir. Zionsville, Lebanon, Whiteland, and the rest of Boone County has an average water hardness near just above 9 gpg.

Westfield, Indiana

This Westfield, IN homeowner—where water hardness is almost 20 gpg—chose a twin-tank water softener. Twin-tank softeners are a great option for homeowners with very hard water.

One tank is always off-line for regeneration or ready on standby. These are very dependable and last longer than traditional water softeners because they regenerate the softener media with soft water. Traditional “downflow” softeners deplete the unused portion of the resin bed with every regeneration. It is like draining the gas tank in your car before you fill it up! “Reverse Flow
Regeneration” drives the hardness minerals up through the already depleted resin and out to the drain – saving both salt and the unused portion of the resin for future use. This “up-flow” provides high efficiency and ultra-low hardness leakage. Precision brining saves additional salt by pre-making only 70% of the brine. Just before regeneration, the computer calculates the precise amount of brine top-up needed to regenerate only the depleted resin saving up to 30% more salt.

Camby, Indiana

This customer in Camby, IN was dealing with unsatisfactory bacteria test results and decided to chlorinate the well and indoor plumbing, as well as have a UV light installed.

Chlorination and Ultraviolet light radiation are great ways to mitigate bacteria in well water. As bacteria in the water passes through the UV treatment system, the ultraviolet light disrupts its DNA, eliminating the ability to reproduce. If it can’t reproduce, it can’t replicate, ensuring it can’t infect what it comes into contact with.

UV light water purification systems are simple but very effective. Ultraviolet light systems also have many benefits that other purification applications don’t. They are reliable, do not waste any water, and have relatively low maintenance. Also, UV light disinfection is approved by the EPA because it is chemical-free and doesn’t create any harmful byproducts.
